Adding two elements to each catalog card: (1) a positioning badge (Most popular / Value option) and (2) a client profile one-liner that tells the distributor who this product is for — without clicking through to the detail page.
Left column shows current card. Right column shows proposed card with badge + client profile tag.
First order banner at top, then all four products with badges and client profile tags. Banner only shows for distributors who haven't placed an order yet (server-side check). Dismiss button hides it for the session.
After dismiss → banner is replaced by this slim strip:
Same layout, translated. Badges: "Más popular" / "Opción económica". Client profile tags in formal usted.
The order wizard uses a narrow sidebar for the catalog. Badges become small inline pills next to the product name. Client profile tags are too wide for this format — skip them here.
Badge design: Pill-shaped, top-right corner of card. "Most popular" uses sage
tint background with sage text. "Value option" uses forest tint with forest text. Subtle —
doesn't compete with the CTA button.
Client profile tag: Single line between product name and description. Sage
color with a small dot prefix. Reads as guidance, not marketing copy. Answers "who is this
for?" in one glance.
Data source: Both badge and profile tag come from the Zoho item metadata (or
a local map keyed by SKU). No new database columns needed — a static map in the catalog code
is cleaner for 4 SKUs.
Not included: No "Start here" badge on kits. Kits don't need positioning —
they're clearly supplies. The badges only go on the peptide SKUs where the decision is
ambiguous.
